9-1 Identifying Quadratic Functions
Objectives: Identify quadratic functions and determine whether they have a minimum or maximum & graph a quadratic function and give its domain and range.
The top line of the information on the left is an example of the standard form of a quadratic function as well as some basic information about the function.
The graph of a quadratic function will always make a parabola. If the lead coefficient is positive, it will open upward (makes a u). If the lead coefficient is negative, it will open downward (makes an n).
